Glendale Guest House - Penrith

Ann greeted me warmly and ensured I was comfortable throughout my visit. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options suitable for everyone.

Its location to Coast was unbeatable.

I enjoyed a lovely stay at Glendale! The cozy decor and super comfy room. Ann was a fantastic host, providing great breakfast options and local tips. Just a tad chilly at night when the heating turned off, but overall, great value!

Nothing too much trouble, the venue met the purpose, would recomand it. The central location and polite staff were the highlight of this fine stay. The service was excellent. I could park the car outside.

The owner was warm and provided great local knowledge. My room was spacious with good light and comfort.

The plumbing could be quite noisy, particularly the toilets, which disrupted the serenity.

I experienced constant issues with the heating, as the room became uncomfortably cold overnight when it switched off early. The shower pressure was disappointing and took too long for hot water to arrive. Minor issues like limited herbal tea options and the cleanliness of a wine glass were frustrating but overshadowed by these more significant concerns.

I had a lovely, clean, single room that had a great view and was so quiet. The breakfast included was delicious and featured local produce, a wonderful touch. I was impressed by the personal touches throughout the guest house.

great base for exploring nearby parks and charming landmarks

It's just a few steps away from the vibrant Gallery and Studios, perfect for art lovers, and only a short walk from Castle Park where I could soak up the greenery during my strolls around Penrith. The only downside was that the heating turned off early in the night, leaving the room a bit chilly.

The room featured a tv, electric kettle, and free toiletries. It was quiet with a nice view. The breakfast was fantastic, and I really appreciated the attention to detail in amenities like the hairdryer and alarm clock. Great overall experience.

the parking can be a bit tricky and the toilet flush was loud sometimes.
